§ 4. Council-Manager Form of Government.

The Town of Atlantic Beach shall operate under the Council-Manager form of government pursuant to Article 7 of Chapter 160A of the North Carolina General Statutes, as amended hereafter. The Town Council shall appoint a Town Manager to serve at its pleasure with the Manager to have those powers and duties set forth in N.C.G.S. 160A-148, as amended, and to the extent not inconsistent with North Carolina law, as shall be assigned to the Manager by the Town Council.
